running mega rich?
Ok folks, what is up with your 5.0's?
On my just converted 4 cyl, the engine is stock, except for bbk cold air pipe, bbk headers, and an offroad xpipe through flowmasters. Is it just destined to run rich due to the lack of cats? Is there a trick to help this?

Well, found the problem. I'm a tard. The O2's weren't getting power from the ignition switch... the fusible link that supplies power to them (it's taped in the harness that runs over the RH shock tower) was kaput. Installed a new one and wow... no more mr. stinky!
Amazing what you can do with a wiring schematic, a 6 pack and some patience.
