motor question
i have an 88 lx with an explorer motor gt-40 heads, cobra upper and lower,bbk shorties, bassani x-pipe, and dynomax 2.5in. Im putting a 331 stroker in with all my parts i just listed what kind of power do you think ill make???

really? i went on the dyno with my 302 and i make 240 now....

If your going to spend the money on a 331 drop the extra money and get yourself a good set of heads like some TW or some AFR's and a better intake. With a well built 331, better heads and intake, and an aggressive cam I would think you should be able to see 320-330 at the wheels somewhere. Maybe even a bit more depending on the cam. GT40 heads are decent for a stock 302 but once you start upping the cubes its time to put some better heads on it.
