HELP !!!!! 14.13 @ 100mph with supercharger

I just put a paxton sn-89 on my car it has a 6psi pully. I normaly go 14.20s @ 98mph. I do not have the fmu hooked up. Will that not let the supercharger work right. I do not have any vac leaks either. The vac reads between 20 and 15 at idle. I dont know what els it could be.

Are you getting any actual indicated boost? Any pinging or other indications that you are running lean?

Although the FMU does not directly effect the SC, it does provide more fuel under boost. Not sure how much multiplication you would need with 19# injectors with 6# boost though.

Without a fuel pressure gage and wide band A/F gage in the car that you can monitor closely while under load, you will never know what is going on in there. I'd suggest a dyno tune before something goes terribly wrong.

Vaacuum is normal?

I thought that when you "boost" you have no more vaacuum? You aren't relying on the sucking air in anymore, you're forcing it in.

Vaacuum = negative boost

I could be reading your post wrong or just be confused myself, but I don't think you should see any more vac. when you properly get boostin'.

EDIT: NM, I'm just confused myself.

Most all forced induction engines make vacuum at idle and higher, depending on the SC, or turbo size and trim. some don't make +boost till higher RPM, or load. Some make it at lower RPM, load, but they all make vacuum at some point.

Forced induction or not, Vac will remain the same unless theres a leak, my turbo doesnt spool up till about 3200rpms and immediatly shoots right to 27psi and then back down to 0 when coasting and then at idle in between 27 and 30 vac

Check vacuum lines, they may be cracked and not leak under vac. but open up during boost. 4.5psi with a 6psi kit, I would only assume that theres a leak somewhere.

thats not a good idea...I'd recommend you go get a nice 255-lph pump, AT LEAST 30 lbs/hr injectors and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Your engine is probably running dangerously lean right now. U could break something running lean like that. Im surprised u lasted down the quarter like that.

HELP !!!!! 14.13 @ 100mph with supercharger

The injectors are fine at that boost level i have a charger running 6 psi and i have no problems. I did upgrade to a 255 lph pump and a adj regulator. I would get a tune or possibly a fmu.

it maybe fine at idle but once it start's going in higher in RPM's, the fuel is gonna cut out and and not be able to give as much fuel as the engine needs
