What do the ford racing gears cost? and swapping a 3.8 to a 5.0, do you have to change out the 7.5 axle on the v6 to a 8.8 v8?

My Motive gears dont whine a bit....Did a bit during the initial break in, but after about 300-400 miles, it stopped completely.
I hear alot of good things about Ford Motor Sport gears as well.

This is for a 5.0, but will give you an idea of prices.

I would 2nd (or 3rd) the FMS gears. I have a set in my 87 Fox and they were pretty easy to install. Havent had any problems with a whine.

Pro 5.0 has many sizes and they have a nice low friction tumbled finish.
