the gas pedal on my car has no give to it when coming out of first the rpms go right to 3000 which makes me churp or accel fast the throttle cable seems find and there is no sensitivity in the pedal i have 410 in the rear would that matter any comments on what would make the pedal do that

I really didn't figure out whether you were saying the pedal felt funny or not, but with 4.10's the rpm's are going to shoot right up and first gear is going to be real short.

to me it sounds like some sort of binding in the throttle body or the throttle cable did you check it check your idle screw is there anything in the way of them I would just look around again to make sute hope that helps too
