Stalling Problem

Hopping to pick some Brains here.
I have developed a stalling problem while driving.
It happens after about 30 to 40 Minutes of driving. I know it is Ignition related because the Tach drops off to 0

I have tried 2 different Distributors. That same thing with Both.

On friday I was stuck on the side of the Road and Thought it was my Jacobs Ignition and I bypassed it and thought it was fine.

But it happened today again. I am really getting Unset with this car.

I have almost all the Parts to park it and start fixing everything but need about 1 more Month to drive it.

At the Rate it is going I will get totalled before then.

It also only seems to happen below 2,500 RPM's.

Check for spark the next time it stalls. Does it restart after about 10 minutes? It could be a bad ignition module.

I will try to check next time.
But the Tach doesn't move when I try to crank it.
Thats why I know it is in the igntion.
The Thin film module is brand new.
I was also thinking Maybe the Hall affect sensor.

But maybe another twist.

May also think a Bad Ground in the car.

Noticed today in the morning was good till I was almost at work the Temp gauge went up then it started messing up again.

Tonight on the way home the Gauge never went over Half. No problem at all.

Also if I turn the Headlights and A/C on full blast the Temp gauge moves up about 1/4 of one of the lines. Turn the stuff off and watch it drop back down.

Update: For anyone Following up or Searching for Answers.

I narrowed it Down to a Bad ground that was Causing all my problems.

I installed a Second Ground from the Sway Bar bolt up to the Head and all the problems went away.

The list of problems were:
Floating Temp guage
Low charging
Stalling
Dim Lights

It has now been 3 days without any problems so I can safely say it was the ground problem.

The Alt. would stop charging after a while of driving and then the car would stall when the Voltage got to low for the car to run.

Sorry to have to retrack my Previos statement.
Problem not gone.

I think it is the Hall affect in the Dist.
After more testing and getting stuck in the Middle of the road.

I Lose spark and Injector pluse when it happens.

Also now another problem is the Car Breaks up really bad at 2,500 RPM.

Gotten so mad at the car it is parked.

In a couple of weeks Engine comes out for some new Parts.
As well as a new Dist.

Hoping the computer isn't bad as well.

Thanks. It has gotten so bad it is Dangerous to drive.

The worse part is when it messes up I try doing further Fault tracing but all goes back to normal before I can find the problem.

That is what I was thinking. Maybe a ground plate has gotten corroded somewhere.

Not really sure today I changed the Dist on the side of the Road.
No more of the stalling on the way home but was still running like Sh**.

When the motor is out I will go over every ground in the car. And Add more as well.
