Tap size for 351w where bell housing bolts up?

I only have metric taps and need to get the motor on an engine stand so I can start working on it. Just wanna clean the dirty threads out. Thanks for any help.

Sorry don't know the exact size, but if you are going to get a tap from a hardware store or autoparts store, take a bolt with you and they can tell you the exact size. They should be able to look it up in their book at the autoparts store.

Yeah, didn't think of taking a bolt with me. Thanks though. Cause that's what I had planned on doing. Just need the one tap.
