Its all good.

OK started her up after reconnecting the MAP and setting the TPS to .98VDC....

SHE RUNS GREAT!

then after a few minutes, as Im setting the timing, it starts jumping all over the place (timing mark on the H.B.) abd now she wont idle.

I went to check everything and could not get a voltage on the TPS, so Im replacing the TPS tonight (hopefully) and Ill post progress.

I guess having the screw turned all the way in screwed up the TPS, it was the original 1988 component anyway...lol

Well I got it running.... Where's Albertville? I know Ive driven by it 1000 times, Im thinking on the way to Dothan and Eufaula.....

Had to set the TPS alittle higher than .98 VDC to get the surging to go away, but not much.

It idles at about 875-900 RPM and purrs like a kitten, no leaks (except the chitty azz Flowtech headers)

I replaced the TPS and the plugs (extremely fouled)

Im going to use the Ford Racing kit to relocate the PS pump to the former location of the A/C compressor.

Then I got to finish up the interior and I can test drive it

it shifts through all gears on the stands, and there is alittle bit of slack in the rear end, but I think its normal...

I will need to upgrade the suspension ft and rear but itll do for now.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED WITH THIS BY THE WAY!

Ill see if I can get some pics, but it doesnt look much different...just runs now

I got to swap the tires over to the good rims (turbine stock 88 GT wheels ) and then its all good.

Well, hell then when I get it running good enough, I will Definately come see ya.

It wont look like much but once I get it running I can start planning the mods. I think I have a good base to work from.

Right now I am taking a break so I can help my brother move this weekend....ugh...

Im putting in the carpet and seats and center console on friday night so I can test drive and Ill throw you a message when I think It can make a trip.

OK...

All is running and exhaust is intsalled back to the FlowMaster 50s.

Im leaking (more like seeping, and then running out of the bell housing when I park)from the rear engine oil seal, but everything else is going good.

I installed a stock manual fan and shroud, because the dual 12" electrics werent cutting it.

everything works except my headlights....I think I have a bad light switch, so im going to get a new one and try it out.

I been deploying all over and I leave for Germany on Sunday. After I get back in October, I should be able to get the body finished up and MAACO is going to paint it for me (with a warranty).

Ill try to get pics up before I leave, but time is tight right now and Im not even working on the car right now.... so please bear with the progress gaps. Ill start a new thread when I get back and post up some pics.
