Need help with questions


Okay guys Im fixing to ask the guy that built my racecer a bunch of questions. This what I currently know about it It is a 351 windsor bored 0.030 it has heads roller cam solid roller lifters and I think forged internals and 125 pound shot with a gm powerglide and a 4.11 rear end.

now Im ready to know more about the car hear my list of questions any thing you guys think I should also ask tell me so i can add it to th list.

Are the internals forged.
What brand pistons am I running.
Has the bottom end had any work done to it If so what.
How much horse can the block take.
What brand is the cam and lifters.
what is the lift duration.
what brand are the heads and have they had any work done to them.
What kind of crank is in it
What kind of suspension does it have.
Is the the k member changed and Are the A arms stock or changed
Have the springs been changed
What size stall does it have
What is done to the transmision.
What kind of drive shaft does it have.
What kind of axle is in it.

Thats all I can think of any thing else I should ask let me know.

dude i thought you were building the car yourself??

when he is finished with the car, he will provide you with a list of parts and reciepts of everything put on the car

No the car is built and I have it we payed 9000 for it I got pics if you wana see Im conserdering changing parts. It was his racecar we bought it and im the driver so there things Id like to change my goal is to get it in the 9s its curently 11s

well if its bored than the bottom end has work done to it, and obviously with a bore he changed the pistons, he most likely put forged pistons in it..all the other questions will def need tobe answered by the man that built it himself. as for horsepower it all depends on how you set it up to handle the hp. i think all the questions are good enough..thats the only thing that sucks about not building your car yourself..your clueless as to what it has, plus i dont have the money to buy an already built race car..lol

see my dad didnt have time to build one so we bought one built and i do all the work and drive it

yea a nice HP Stage 2 turbo kit could get you into the 8's maybe even 7's

depending where you set the boost at

and you got room to work with

$5k at the most, but thats for the EFI guys

your gonna need a carb kit or build one like you said, instead of going twin's i would get a nice 78mm to put on and you should be 9's easily

i dont mind rebuilding it Im broke man and my dad making me pay for any mods so cheap is nice

i can tell you you have the stock k member and a arms i told you when you were at the track also ask him about your rods and compression

and if you want 9s just put the 275 shot on it change the k member put coil overs on it drag shocks and springs in the back and youll get ther with ease

you can get it filled at loud and clear on penn...no i would but i have to work im workin on my car right now im changing alot of stuff
