Yeah I'm a newbie with a couple of quick questions

I have now owned my Mustang for about 7 or 8 months. As much as I like the car I must say I feel it was a mistake to buy one that someone else did all of the engine work on. I know its a 306 but have no idea as to what kind of internals I have. As for the work done on the engine the guy did a really good job.
Ever since I got the car the check engine light would come and go. I finally took the time to read the codes and I came up with the EGRVP, TPS, & MAP/BARO sensor codes. It seemed to still run pretty good up until the last couple days. I now have to start the car 3 times and on the third time keep giving it gas to keep it running. I've been thinking that I need to check the fuel filter and replace it. I was wondering if there was anything any of you could think of.
I have also noticed that the fuel injectors have been replaced but haven't been able to find out what size they are with the numbers I've found on the sides of them. I did notice they have a green top on them though. Any thoughts on what size they are? Thanks for the help.

No I haven't taken care of the codes yet. At the moment I'm a little tight on cash. I've been trying to figure out which, if any, of the sensors would cause it to act like that. I intend to replace them all I was just trying to fix the hesitation before it messed something else up.

i usually always go carbed i dont like sensors and everything at has to do with fuel injection. thats my 2 cents..lol..im pretty sure you can go to jegs or summit racing and search your brand and pretty much narrow it down to what size injectors you have. i would go to summit it might be a tad bit easier to narrow down. you can always throw some injector cleaner in and see what that does it might have some carbon buidl up.thats always a possibliltiy im not good with fuel injection though..always start from the bottom up, get some injector cleaner see what that does, change the filter, check fuel pump then start going serious..lol

well since its a 306, its a stock block bored .30" over

and a simple fix to the car is to remove the check engine bulb, since the car is modded and will be modded more, the check engine light will never go away...

so it's best to remove it so it doesnt melt the instrument bezel sfrom it being on constant, but it is always a good idea to scan the car evey couple of months just to make sure everything is an ok order

Well the light goes off for a while and will come back on. It doesn't stay on constantly.

Here are the codes that I pulled:
22 MAP (vacuum) or BARO signal out of range - MAP
31 EVP - EVP signal is/was out of range - EVP
EVR - EVP signal is/was low - EVR
PFE - PFE signal is/was low - PFE
63 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) signal too low TPS

That is the EGR valve position sensor. I was wondering if any of these would make my car hesitate all of the sudden. I've been driving the car with these codes for about a month and a half now. Its been fine up until the last couple of days. It acts like its not getting enough gas and is trying to die on me. After driving for a while though it seems to clear up.

If I am not mistaken the plug for that is right next to the TPS plug? I have no EGR system on my car and it was just an open plug. That will cause the light to come on. They make a jumper that you can plug into it to satisfy the circuit. Thats one code down...Hopefully..

When I first start the car it really just doesn't want to idle or anything. If I take off it starts jerking really bad and tries to die. It also sounds like it may be backfiring but if it is, its doing it at the engine. I can feel what almost seems like a pop through the floor board.
