going mass air... ECU question?

Hi all, new to the board and to Mustangs for that matter. Had a 97 Lt1 TA and a 98 LS1 Z28 in the past but they are now gone..... I now have an 88 GT vert that a friend wanted to get rid of cheap... needles to say I could't pass it up... I haven't done anything to it yet but i have MAC shorties, Hpipe(w/cats)/ dumped catback/ trickflow track heat intake, /221 int./225 exh, Lift .499/.510 112 lsa trickflow cam, 1.7 RR, underdrive pillies, ported E7's with behive style springs and 3 angle valve job, all sitting in my garage waiting to go in. I want to go Mass air and plan on getting the stuff needed in seperate form. I noticed there are quite a lot of different ECU's and I know the A9L is the one to have but is there one that you want to avoid? and can you use a 94-95 ECU in a fox? Sorry so long and thanks for any help.... BTW this is just a car for street/strip/fun...

A9L all the way, usually the 94-95 guys wanna switch their puters for the A9L. Poopy 6250 limiter though, you can get a chip made for your app.
