Side Mirror Blinkers

I would like to run a set of LED's in my side mirror housing as blinkers like you see on many newer vehicles. Making it a clean install is no problem, but does anyone have any idea what wires I would need to splice into to get a signal from my left or right blinkers? the car is a 93 GT.

You need to buy M3 Style Mirrors to fit your car to make this work...

I wouldnt need m3 style mirrors, all I would have to do is install a few LED's with resistors in the mirror housing and run the wiring. Wouldn't be difficult at all. I could even use some sort of stick-on light accents such as these- http://images.marketworks.com/hi/75/74821/20605_01.jpg and stick them on the outside of the housing.
The only thing I need to know is the location of the wires going to my stock blinkers so that I can splice into them.
I'm not sure if the new mustangs have them or not, but I'm pretty sure they don't

Just buy a hays maual or something like that. It should detail all the wiring in the car.

For what its worth...
Light green wire with a white stripe is the left hand side
White wire with a light blue stripe is the right hand side
Both are 20 gauge wires.

These wires can be found somewhere under the dash between the turn signal switch and the instrument cluster or the instrument cluster and the hazard switch. The hazard switch would probably be the easiest place to find them.

This is from a 1979-1992 Mustang Haynes manual. The book was made in 1992 and I assume 93 would be the same. I'd verify these with a test light or voltmeter first.

Sounds more of a hobby project that will cost a few bucks or can be done with parts some people have laying around. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I've built quite a few electronic projects that were somewhat elaborate that I spent more time to make then I used them for. Its a hobby, not an effort to save money.

Thanks for the help nolife, that at least points me in the right direction.
lol I suppose it could be taken as a "gay ass ricer move", but like nolife said, its a hobby. why would i want my fox to be just like every other one on the streets anyway?

When you get done with it post some pics. I am interested in seeing what it looks like when you are done.
