what do i need to do to take off the smog pump.....and is it worth doing? do i have to get a different belt or what?

You can take it off and run a shorter belt

i just did mine maybe 3 hours ago, 84.5 inch belt on stock pullies will work perfectly, make sure you plug the holes in the back of the heads though.

yea you need a bolt to screw into the back of the heads, different heads call for different sizes. make sure you get the shortest bolt so you have no clearence problems with anything else.

and the pipe that was in the exaust just is gone and i leave the holes in the exaust?

ooo yea the stock headers will need to be plugged also forgot that i was putting in headers.

well im getting new headers too so that will work....what do you think about cutting the pipes on the back of the heads and pluging those?

no the a/c is already off....lol i live in washington, not really any need........but yea i need the measurements for an a/c and smog delete...thanks tho
