Flywheels
Hey what the hell is the difference between imbalance flywheels and unbalance flywheels and the neutral flywheels

Well it would be imbalanced. Some by 28oz like old pre 85 302's and later 50oz imbalanced.
It matches the imbalance of the harmonic balancer on the other end of the crankshaft and dampens the harmonics of the motor. Good high rpm race stuff is zero balance. Much better concept but the motor must be perfect balanced to start with and thats expensive. |

neutral flywheels have no imbalance... they are not counterweighted at all
imbalance and unbalance... same thing... except unbalance is an incorrect term on a stock 5.0HO you need a 50oz imbalance, 351w takes a 28oz imbalance... some aftermarket 302 based rotating assemblies can be balanced at 28oz
