however, s/c an ls1 and lets see that race. the only fair race between the two engines is a mach 1 and an ls1. which kinda go back in forth.

my friend at work has an older 6.6 trans and the thing looks sweet! But just cause it looks sweet dosnt mean its fast. The thing has headers and exhaust and its slow as balls.

i had an 89 Iroc-Z w/ a 305 and a 5-spd..we put on edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, 650cfm double pumper, comp cam, 1.7 rr's and some thick wheels in the rear..and to let you know just w/ my ported upper and lower and full exhuast my mustang would have eaten it alive..Thats why im Ford to the Bone now..I raced a buddy of mine with an 1995 Z28 LT1 w/ just exhuast and intake..and his ate my camaro BAD!!!!!!...there rare round here so i wanted to be different..looked good w/ cowl hood and draglites..but theres something bout these freakin 5.0's...

And by the way jesus drives an 1969 Mach 1 428cj 4spd!!!!! w/ 70 boss 429 red paint job..

mustangs are kindof slow lol i raped a new z28 95-??? he was stick i was auto from a roll i know hes faster but i dunno maybe a shitty driver??? smoked him by about a car

yea but think about the amount of engine before you say that chevy pulls out Big ci sb vs ford sorry ass 281's and 302's i just think on the cobras the blower makes it even against vettes and shit stock cobras eat vettes all day stock vs stock but yet take a cobra and burn a vette owner and first shit he says is well lets run a blower on mine ? get my point?

ok so i did more research and i read the codes worng sorry. i was looking at the 73 super duty 455. rated 290 but runs high thirteens stock. sorry.

but how could you say that vette owners always go with well lets blow my ls1? duh thats obvious the only way ford ever makes power is blowers. ford gt? 5.4 blown. come on z06 427 small block, cubic inches make power nowadays. and then they put mod motors in? what is that? thats what imports have in there car too ya know. ever heard of a vtec?

yeha I was thinking that is one freak of a car in 79, lol. Yeha ford does seem to have some problems with getting a good amout of hp without slaping a supercharger on their cars. I love the 05 mustang, but i was hopeing it would pull about 330-350 horses without a blower, i mean 300 is nice, but a little more would not have been that hard, even 320 hp would have really made it more of a beast, I really think they could have given it a little more grunt, for not that much more money.
