O2 sensors


i think i have a bad O2 sensor, what would some of the symptoms be if the sensor is bad?

well the car will die when it reaches operating temp, and i cant start it again until it cools....the engine will turn over it just wont run.

If its been more then 75,000 miles since they were last replaced, I would replace them any way.

You only want to get motorcraft ones though, they are calibrated properly.

That sounds more like a fuel pump issue to me.

thats the thing, i am running at 45psi, when i just turn on the fuel pump, and 55 psi when it car is running about 1300 rpm....and the car wont idle. i just built an engine and installed it, i am trying to work out all the kinks...

o2


I replaced my O2 sensors when my car was running crappy below WOT. Mine ran perfect at WOT, but would barely stay running otherwise. The O2 sensors did the job. An amazing difference.
