1985 mustang gt


ok i just ought a 85 gt and its carbed as you guys already know.what can be done to this car i need a rundown on the parts that can make this hall a s s.i had a nice 87 gt that was built but sold it to buy a bike(miss that stang everyday).so my wife found this one because she says i owe her and the kids another mustang love my wife.its got a 87 block with the carbed set up on it,headers, flow masters,a 87 rear end,new clutch and flywheel.i bought it for 1,200 he's owed it since 89 it has 107,000 miles on it and low miles on the motor.i just need help with go fast parts if it was a efi i would be all set but its not so i'm asking you guys for some good input especially darrel you come thru for me on the 87,give me your wisdom on this new project out

you can always hone out the heads or simply buy new heads, from my last post im guessing the gt40 heads are excellent. get a new camshaft, i hae crane cams on mine and i love it, get new rocker arms, underdrive pulleys..

or you can spray it..thats a simple and easy way

damn i was hoping a 85 block i was gonna say throw some ported e7's on it but Crap!!! iono h,c,i and some nitrous

in 1990 or 1991 I had an 85' GT that was simple but went 12's like clock work if thats what your looking for.

302 untouched shortblock
GT40 head untouched
b-303
performer rpm
holley 650
shorties
cat back
3.73

Just power steering, no emissions, ac etc.
