Hey I was wondering how hard is it to change the front main seal? I still have a pretty bad motor oil leak from the front of the motor and Ive changed the timing chain gasket water pump gasket intake manifold valve cover.

It's pretty easy, pull the dampener, unbolt the water pump, unbolt the cover. If you wanna make it alot easier, remove th dowel pins in the cover, wich makes putting it back on alot easier. the seal kit comes with a sleve that slides over the crank I have used these, they suck. just clean off your crank snout really good and try to get any rust off it, I used some rubbing compound to clean it up and make sure it was smooth for the seal. Also after you get th ecover back on, smear some axle grease on the crank snout just around the seal to prevent rust from forming on the outside of the crank next to the seal, that will chew at the seal.
