Mini-starters

I have been looking at the mini starters for an 89 Mustang and wondering if any of you had any suggestions on which one to get. The ones I've found made by Ford say they won't work with a manual transmission. Do they make any that do or is there another brand anyone would recommend? Thanks in advance for the help.

I run a Powermaster starter and it works with auto or manual.
