Bigger MAF, Bigger Injectors???

As for my mustang, the engine is bone stock. I figured I would do up everthing else first. But anyway I wanna put a bigger MAF, and injectors in my car. Preferably a 76mm MAF and 42Ib injectors. Now my question is would I have to do anymore upgrades with my car for these 2 things??
Like would I also need a bigger fuel pump, or would I need to run a different computer like superchips, or a megasquirt?? Would I also have to get the car dyno tuned so it runs correctly . Any info would help Thanks guys

42lb injectors? Are you supercharging the engine?

well when I get the money in about a year i really wanna start a turbo project. I want to run 42's on the turbo set up, the lowest i would go are 36's. I only want to spend the money on injetors once...I was just thinkin if it could be done if i ran a megasquirt or something..

What all do you have done yo your engine?, if your mods are modest 42s are away too much, and your money will be better spent in another department. If your engine HP is under 375 than 42s are not even close.

Yeah, until you put that turbo on, 42s should be out of the question. Pick another upgrade to do first.

Just b/c you buy somethin dont mean you need to put it on right away!Buy all the stuff you need and do it all at once not piece by piece.Just wonderin what kind of power are you wantin to make.

And the odds are 42's will be too small for most turbo projects, I'd go at least 60's when you put the turbo on.....not now.

Yeah, that's way, way off. Stock 19s will take you to 300 flywheel horsepower.

well dont wanna take over this post..but i have the chance to get an unused vortech V1 T-Trim for only $1300..now i just installed 24lb injectors for my motor, i know those will be too small..what else to i need to upgrade and what size injectors are good for that supercharger..and i noticed a little difference in power when installing those 24lb injectors in my motor..and i probably only have say 260-280 rwhp..at most...

Yeah, stock 19lb injectors are orange, 24s are light blue. That's all I know for sure off the top of my head, but you can find out all the other from many sources. . .

EDIT: And yes, stock will only take you to 300 flywheel horsepower. You're maxing out the injector duty cycle, which is a no-no, so just get some bigger injectors before then. 24s will handle most every naturally aspirated 302.

This only works with Ford parts.
