A couple years ago I would have said recyle both of them and throw in a C-4 but with gas going through the roof that Overdrive isn't all that bad. I can not think of the correct name but something to the effect of Buchannon makes a lot of of high tech stuff for AODE transmissions. I bought a TPS Display a few years ago and gained a new respect for electronics in transmissions. [this is coming from someone with a degree in electronics ] So in short, if money isn't an object get an AODE - if you are a cheap bastard like myself run the tranny you got, until it fails then replace it with something faster, stronger, and lighter.

personally, I'd build myself a nice AODE, but hey, that's what I do all day long. Any reputable trans shop should be able to do this for you, or if you'd like, send your's to me and I'll do it for you. The parts needed to make a tough AODE aren't that expensive or hard to get. If I had to buy one, my first choice would be Transmission Specialties in Pennsylvania.

AODE is better trans but you need the ETU to control it

And ryanhewett466 PA is top notch I been racing with them for years and they carry stuff others won`t also I found that the R&D there is always looking for requests for new stuff if the market shows intressed

also I would stay away from a C4 if you are on the street as it is 3 speed and the AOD is 3 speed with OD(4th gear)
you may find that better on your motor on the freeways

sounds like the majority would go AODE. the AODs are a little cheaper so of course i was considering them an option. i don't know much about transmissions so i'm still learning.
