My 100% stock 91 GT 5 speed with 2.73 rear runs 15.2 @ 93 all day every day at sea level, ~80F, no power shifting.
My 60 ft sucked and I believe it was in the 2.2-2.4 range. When I state 100% stock, I mean 100% stock, paper air filter, air silencer still installed, factory clutch, etc and when i was doing these runs, the car had about 120K miles.

I'm guessing the Mustang was on a street tire? Put a slick on it and it will go very low 12s with that mph.

he said it had a horrible 60ft, yeah i only have BFG touring T/A's....NBD...but he said it was going sideways all through first 100ft..

finally cuaght to have an OK 1/4 in the 8's or something like that..but cuaght enough to still stay under 13..thats why i was surprised cuz the 1st thing he said is that i went 110mph..i was like it ran low 12's.. ...then he way no..spun all the way..to a 12.86..then i was like

but im OK with that...i have less than $2000 into it..

well i just traded my mach 1 hood for a set of 17X8 Cobra R's with Nitto Extreme Drag Radials on em..so that should get better traction..but i still want 15X5 draglites upfront, 15X10's outback...M/T sportmans upfront and M/T ET streets outback..thats would be much better traction..

11.97@122? Damn he must have had some serious traction issues. With a car that hooks at 122mph he can run high 10.90s to 11.0 something... Whats the deal there?

Well I'll tell you what havin 17's on there even with drag radials it aint gonna get much better. 17's just dont have the bite needed for a good 60 foot. Dont get me wrong it will improve a little but not much. I had the same rim and tire combo. It still sucks.. The sidewalls on the 17's are way to thin and stiff, no flex.. Wait till you get the 15's on there with the drag radials.. If you have stock axles watch out!!!!
Oh yeah I wouls not run 10 inch rims out back. They are really tight.. I would run an 8 or 9 inch out back with a 275-50-15 out back, and you will have to remove the quad shocks if they are still on. If you have stock rear control arms they are gonna have to be replaced with aftermarket units if the quads are removed.

he has only stock suspension, stock gears, and he i think went up with a set of bald winter tires..there only like 7" wide..he built up motor to see the 1/4 of motor..and then will take it back, w/ new tread, then w/ new suspension..to see his progress i guess..

well these cobras w/ drag radials are better than the my WTS racing 16X8 wheels w/ bald BFG street tires..but just sold these cobras to a buddy for a set of black 16X7 cobra r's and a set of draglites (15X3, 15X8)..but wont get draglites for 3wks..there in cali with him..
