I came across this when i upgraded my bagged 86 gt to 5 lug 4 wheel disc i bought 95 axles, caliper brackets, new calipers, pads and cross drilled slotted rotors for the rear and found the with to be to wide bye 3/4 inch with the abs ring on the axles. So i got ranger/aerostar axles then the brackets would not work so i looked around and they make a set of brackets for $190.00 shipped. I thought it was way to much so i took 94-95 mustang brackets that fit on the out side of the axle flange. I took them and cut a peace out between the two lower bolts so it will slip over the axle housing behind the flange and bolt it up that makes the caliper fit perfect.I used 95 front spindles, rotors, calipers and ball joints. Just thought this might save some of you some money.comments questions welcome i will try to post some pics this weekend.Here are a couple of my car pancaked and air all the way up and the $190.00 brackets.
