Electrical problem -- 87 GT


Hello,

When I turn on my head lights my fuel guege reads full tank even when it is almost empty, when I turn off the head lights the fuel reads right again ....what is this?

Looks closely around the headlight switch...And the gas gauge...See if wires are touching or what...

I would also check Main grounds from engine to Body.

I had a Bad engine ground and the more things I turned on the higher my Temp gauge went.

I ran a new ground wire from the sway bar bolts to the Head.

Ground Wires can cause some crazy $hit to go on if they are not properly grounded...
