FROM EFI TO CARB

JUST BOUGHT THE CAR WITH THE WORK ALREADY DONE. PROBLEM IS IT REALLY DONT COME TO LIFE UNTIL 3000 RPM'S I HAD A GUY TELL ME THAT THE PROBLEM IS WHEN THEY CONVERTED IT THEY DIDNT CHANGE THE CAM. IS THERE A DIFFERANCE BETWEEN A EFI CAM AND A CARB CAM?

no there isnt a difference between efi and carbed cams, there no such thing as an efi or carb cam anyways..is it an 5spd or AOD..could have a stall in it with an AOD..

Like Speedstang302 said it could be a torque converter issue if you have an automatic or it could be a mismatched combination or in need of tuning. Please tell us more about your combination.
