Throttle sticking?

Sometimes when I'm driving down the road, when I let off the gas the engine will remain at the same rpm and even keep up the constant speed. I know my gas pedal isn't sticking and I just replaced the tps. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Do a BG throttle body clean out that might free up the butterflys a bit.

I have had this trouble and it turned out to be that my injectors weren't seated correctly. it was a speed density car though.

try moving the throttle with your hand on the linkage and see if it binds. then take the linakge off and use your hand again to open the throttle and see if it binds there. if not then the problem is in the throttle cable somewhere.

The BG injector cleaner would have done the same thing but may have worked a little better I used it in my truck and it made a hell of a difference
but hey at lest you got the problem fixed

It worked great, I just had Carb Cleaner on hand

My throttle used to get stuck when I let it sit at idle for 30 seconds, like it was hard to push.. I sprayed Silicon Lubricant on the throttle linkage at the throttle body, just went crazy (Probably shouldn't have.. oh well) and it fixed that as well.

Thanks for all the input. I will definately give these a shot. Its a little annoying when you let off the gas and the rpm and speed won't drop.
