Car almost stalls

I had this problem before but it seems to happen more often now that i've taken the egr and smog vacume lines off. When i put the car in gear, it almost stalls, but it'll pick back up. Does anyone know what my problem is?

sounds like a vacuum leak from your manifold or you didnt cap off the lines you removed good enough, and again it could be your i.a.c. if you have over 70,000 miles on it then change your i.a.c. with an o.e.m. one

Yeah definately double check all the lines...

Does it surge?

its the egr its gonna bog out in mid range rpms and then pik bak up check the lines over or better yet just put back the egr system alltogether

yea my car has 120k miles and does the same thing. there's no egr on it. althoug i did find some random hose that looks like it broke or something. it's hard white plastic tubing with a rubber outside. so i traced it as far as i could and it looks likeit goes right into the upper intake manifold underneath by where the fuel rails go. any suggestions as to what it might be?

id get a surge protector. jk im gona guess you need a new iac.

but what is that line from? cuz now that it's colder out,an when i start it up i can hear like some kind of hissing noise from the engine bay. the noise only lasts for like a second at a time though....
