you need to take it on a test drive. dont be afraid to get on it. keep an eye on the temp gauge. listen for any knocking or pinging. when you get back, look under the hood for any leaks around the water pump area, listen for any vacuum leaks, and pay attention on how it idles, make sure the main engine ground is tight. if everything above seems kosher, offer him 5000.00, if not, keep shopping. and the cola air intake, without any other mods provide between 5-8 h.p.

Also dont be afraid to take it to a mechanic on the test drive and have them give it a one over...Its worth it in the long run...

I have drove it a couple times already actually....runs smooth and sounds good. i havent got on it really tho. I am having one of my buddies go with me wednesday morning and drive it and see what he thinks. hes been around mustangs a long time and drove many gt's and now has a 95 cobra in almost perfect condition. i am thinking of offering him 5,000 but he doesnt seem like he will come off the 5500 but i will give it a try. i think 55 is a lil high too

I would tell him how much it KBB's for...

I am pretty sure he is talking about buying the GT not the Cobra...

Ok...So i havent drove alot of manual cars, in fact only 2 and the clutch on this stang is pretty stiff according to my dad. Just wondering if thats a mustang thing? or if it could be due to maybe an aftermarkey clutch if that would make it stiff? or if thats a sign of it going out? thanks again guys

$4500 is fair if the car is in good shape. We just sold a mint 11 second 95 with custom paint and every modification you can think of for $6500.
