Wheel selection for 85 LX
What is the widest 15" that will fit on a stock fendered 1985 LX? Also, what backspacing is needed and what tire size would be appropriate for the wheel in question?

I would put a 15x8 with a 5.5 backspacing and a 275 tire.

15x10 not sure what the back spacing was and 275/60/15 the front you have to really watch 15x8 235 is as wide as i could have gotten there

Why would anyone put a 15x8 wheel on the front of a mustang,I would put a 15x5 on the front or a 6.And you will need to bust out the three pound mallet for a 15x10.
