Do you by any chance have the part number for the stage 1 cam? I see track heat and no stage 1.
Should i go with 1.6 or 1.7 rockers? heh any help would be great.

I have no idea what you have done or what you are doing, so telling you which rocker is a crapshoot

Buy the cylinder heads at the same time then - changing the cam and keeping the stock heads will get you pretty much nothing.

Alright I thought about it and i was thinking about a stage 2 cam whats the diff?
I want a real loppy idle. I am thinking about porting the heads and getting a 3-angle valve job, along with the cam. I also hears about shaving the bottom of the heads to increase compression.

whats the difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 TFS cam?

what rockers should i go with if i want the stage 2 cam?

Your better off to buy a set of heads.you will do nothing with the stock heads but spend alot of money and not even come close to the kind of power a set of aftermarket heads can give you.G trick flow twisted wedge heads

I wouldn't waste your money - in a nutshell the stock heads suck! Buy a set of TFS heads, a Stage 2 cam, etc, and install that. That'll be good for 300+ RWHP. The diff between the cams can be found on their website. The biggest difference is the lift. I think the Stage 1 is .500 and the Stage 2 is .546.

Like mentioned don't waste your money on stock heads. The middle TFS cam (stage 2) works really well in a street car with good heads.

new heads sounds like a big investment......BUt if they give you that much of an improvement .....its worth it! ......How much are they? (tax included) I was thinking about getting TFS TW heads or AFR 185. any one know the price on the TFS heads? I went to the site but couldent find the price. the AFR 185 are at 1,399.

Will the stock 1993 internals be able to handle the new heads and cam? What size TB/ injectors/ fuel pump/ MAF should i go with?
What rocker size should i use?

I saw this article on the AFR site.

Go with the tw heads b/c you can use the 2.02 valve with the stock pistons,as for the afr 185's you would have to flycut the pistons. There is nothing wrong with the stock internals on a 93 as long as you dont want to use nitrous b/c 93 was the only year that cama out with hyperutectic pistons they are great for n/a combinations but not great for power adders.hers a set of trick flow heads that would work nice with what your doing.

Go for the entire H/C/I kit. Look on Summit for current prices. You'll need bigger injectors, and MAF, and will definately benefit from a larger than stock TB.
