I think he is refering to is similar to the one you found but it is a yellow convertable LX with the chrome pony wheels and black leather interior.
In 90 was the 7-up model, no idea in 91, 92 had the red LX with white wheels and 93 had this one.

There is one for sale on Craigslist Chicago right now, probably the same one this person is talking about
http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/car/415600870.html

As with any car for sale, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

yeah, they made 5000 of them. I saw one in OK shape sell for 6,000 this year. More than 8000 would be a stretch even if it is flawless.

i think the spoiler was one of the additions on the summer edition. and it being a convertible. Anyone have that mustang milestones mag. I think they show them in there in one of the mustang timelines or something.

Midway through the model year in 1990 the first limited edition LX convertible was produced. It was deep emerald green with a white interior (7up car). No idea how many of these where produced. In 1992 2,019 vibrant red/white interior limited editions were sold. In 1993, two more options were bright yellow with chromed ponies (1,503 built) and all white including the wheels (1500 built). Although these were termed limited editions, they were available as factory options, but simply weren't that popular at the time. And still, they do not command much of an increase in price, although the leather interior is kinda nice.

The leather interior, wheels, and color combinations is the only thing special about these cars.

At least they did something for the limited edition, never heard it called the "Summer Edition" though. Unlike the 25th anniversary, where all we got was a red stripe down the side of the car..lol.

nba1341, that song "Hold Nothing Back" was actually recorded by a swedish band called "Tribal Ink". Many of thier songs have been mislabeled as Linkin Park by people on the internet.
