misfire at high rpm

hey guys looking for some help on this one.. asked around alot allready but to no luck. anyways ive got an 85 GT 5.0 bored out .030", performer rpm cam fully adjustable roller rockers, air gap intake, 4barrel 650cfm edelbrock carb, shorty headers, vortex exhaust.. on full trottle it pulls hard but once i get to 4800rpm- 5300rpm it misfires like crazy. if i stay on the throttle it will clear out and pull 6000rpm.. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mike Pasman

Could that be where the secondaries are opening up?

Sounds like too much fuel. Check you secondary jets and maybe go down a few steps... better yet toss that edelbrock carb and get a real one.
