302 Build

ok ive got stock bottom end 302. im looking into aluminum heads that will go good with a victor jr intake, E303 cam, 650 carb and LT's. i will be building a 347 bottom end with an extra block i have so i would like to get stuff that will switch over. ive been thinkin about going to a pull-a-part and getting some gt-40 aluminum heads and just throwing them on there stock since its a stock bottom end. anybody have any pointers? my car is a 83 but its a 89 bottom end. fully gutted, cage, mallory igniton, subframe connectors, and 3 inch wheels and tires on front with 10 inch on rear. looking to get into the 12's with it

The hell with NOS, go natural and build it so you saw off the Nitrous cheaters. How you ask? 347 bottom end with a roller .600ish cam and a good comp ratio. Old school works and doesnt burn your piston if you go lean at WOT. Just my .02 and experience.
Fun to see a guys face that ran NOS and you still beat him.
