Timing Settings......
On my 5.0, when I pull out the timing plug, the car does not drop in RPM. What could be wrong with it? Also the computer can not communicate with any scanners. Does anyone know what could be the problem and how to correct it?

Sounds likethe EEC could be no good
the spout for your timing is controlled by the EEC so its def the computer
