i think it was with this

ported stock upper and lower
ported E7's
1.6 rr
fms f303 cam
1.94 manley stainless valves
comp cam double valve springs
MAC 65mm TB and EGR spacer
C&L 73mm MAF
MAC CAI
MAC shortys

One of the Ford crate 5.0 engines is rated by Ford with 345HP flywheel with the B cam when equipped with the "Ford Racing induction kit" which is basically a GT40 upper and lower. That specific crate engine has the GT40X aluminum heads. That is about 120 more flywheel HP then a stock 5.0. See here for the details http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=7367

What you are describing sounds like almost the same engine combination assuming the GT40 heads you are getting are the GT40X aluminum heads and you have the F cam instead of the B cam.

On a side note, the 42# injectors are kind of big for that application.

Do Ford HP claims for that combination pan out in the real world? I have no idea.

oh yeah and forgot to these on the NEW list

aeromotive AFPR
aeromotive billet fuel rail
FMS 24lb injectors

and i would have heads ported, but not worth it when this winter im getting TFS TW 2.02 heads, and im thinking bout talking to ed curtis bout that custom cam..and i just got an brand new MAC catted H-pipe for $50 through freind, cuz failed mass inspection w/ out cats..

dont like the change in sound, didnt think it would make that big a dif..quiter and not as rumbly..sucks

well no the heads are cast-iron GT40 heads, not aluminum.

and those injector the guys throwing them in for whatever reason..im just gunna sell them off..and i know there too big, there S/C injectors, im running 24lbers..

so i see 345hp w/ aluminum heads, so bout 300 or so w/ these gt40's

so bout 270-285rwhp maybe..idk

and what hp gains would the TFS TW 2.02 heads and a custom cam add..

it was the 306 shortblock, with stock top end with exhuast and pullies only.

I hear that is damn good for an AOD with exhaust and pullies.
