5 lug conversion

i cant seem to find anywhere that sells a 5 lug conversion for a 92 LX 5.0.. im guessing i am looking in the wrong places, but anyways, since i cant find anybody who sells them, i cant get much info on them.. first off, about how much do they cost? and second, what kind of wheels fit them? the 94-98 wheels? 99-04?

bascially, what is the offset, backspacing, and all that crap?

or is each 5 lug conversion kit different?

Blue oval industries has a conversion kit pieced together using standard Ford parts from other vehicles for $299. Other places have similar

You can get kits with higher performance parts and they will obviously cost more.

No idea but these rotors and drums are probably from a mid 80's lincoln so they are the standard Ford 5 bolt pattern.

TMD on ebay has a 5 lug conversion kit for $350 that comes with new bearings seals, power slot rotors, new drums, Yukon 28 splines, studs, and brake pads.

It's like an axle upgrade, brake upgrade, and 5 lug conversion for one low price. I bought it and installed it. The quality is very good. Also, you do not have to replace the spindles with this kit, just the rotors!

hey just to throw my .02 cents in.. If you do it the salvage yard way make sure you go with the ranger axles (2 driver side) do not go with mark 7 it is a pain in the arse!!!
this pic shows how rediculously far the mark 7 axles stick out and I think sn axles are a little better but not much:
ranger on left mark 7 on right

Best way to go is with 94-95 spindeles calipers rotors and brake likes up front you will have to use 94-95 ball joints or washeres on yours and a adapter for the pasenger brake line and for the rear use 83-92 ranger driverside or 86-areoatar passenger sideaxles for stock with and i you are using drum gets the drums as well if not use the mustang rear rotos and calipers with these spacial brakets here are too site to help you http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/mustang/5lug.html and http://www.northcobras.com/catalog/brakes/brakes.htm and really it will not be much cheaper thean a full kit by the time you bye a poportioning valve and master cylinder I have done this full kit my self nickle and dime you i have about $600 in it with new parts
