How many HP will a cobra intake support?

I am thinking about going with a cobra intake on my 92 notch, how many HP will it support(the car just has exhaust right now, but I will be adding a few things down the road)? I want to go with the NX gemini plate kit, has anyone had any dealing with that nitrous kit? (you know the one that bolts between the upper and lower intakes. Main thing is I hate to buy that $1000 nitrous kit for the stock restrictive 5.0 intake, I only want to buy ONE plate, they are expensive. .

Just save and buy a trick flow engine kit its like 2500,and you can buy a plate nitrous system pretty reasonable.

I was really wanting to keep a pretty much stock car and spray a 150 to get into the 12's, is that reasonable? I will get a bigger fuel pump, sticky tires, I want a wet kit, but I also want to keep the puddling of fuel and the nitrous explosions away. If I did get a trick flow kit, would I need the street heat or track heat? How much of a power increase would I be looking at with a stock bottom end? I would put in a trick flow cam also.

haha ya not a good idea...lol but you the trick flow stuff is awesome, and if you use the nitrous also you should be looking at somewhere around 450 hp or maybe a little lower.

with a 306 with the trick flow top end kit and a 100 shot you should make 450 at the flywheel.roughly 400 at the wheels.OF course with all the other goodies

I have the NX plate kit for the cobra intake. I'm pretty happy with it. THe 100 hp jets (actually about 150) put me in the 11s. The car has performer heads, cobra intake and cam.
