some hissing


it sounds like a hissing noise from my intake manifold near the firewall does anyone know wat it could be. its a stock intake manifold on a 92gt and it only does it when i rev it up in neutral, when i get on it in first gear, and when i downshift.......gaskets on the manifold maybe?

possibally broken Vacuum line.

Check the PCV valve. Make sure it's seated all the way.

put a vacuum gauge on any source and pump it up to 18-20 inches. close off the valve and watch your gauge. if it starts to bleed down then start inspecting all of your vacuum lines for brittleness, tears, and poor connections. replace as neccessary

Check for a cracked EGR line off of your cylinder head
