how much Power


Hey guys i was just wondering how much power this motor has it was a fuel injected but now it has an edelbrock intake and edelbrock 600 four barrel it has headders and flowmasters.

did you do a whole exhaust setup or jsut headers and flowmasters, or did you put an x or h pipe on.

It just comes off the headders and straight back and dumps at the rearend

if i had to guess and this is only a guess im not a dyno machine..lol..i would say like 240rwhp.

but that also depend on what kind of tranny you have..if you have an AOD your going to loose more power to the rear.

I had a 302 with 350hp it's probably going to feel weird going from that to this i'm guessing the nitrous helped blow my last one :wink

yeaa nitrous can do that if you use it wrong and dont have it setup to run nitrous..lol..how was the setup on your last 302 with the nitrous.

i would say 220 rwhp maybe less

I had it going through the intake on a stock motor but it lasted for about 8 months and sprayed the hell out of it on the weekends.

It was fun while it lasted it had the factory motor which was a 79 and i snagged an 88 5.0 block but my 79 had a really good lunati voodo cam but i cant put it in this one, well i dont think i can.
