cam question


does anybody know which ford racing cam i can run with my stall its 2800 i know i can run the e303 but i would like to go bigger any help would be appreciated thanks

why in the hell does everyone look at lift????It dont mean shit!!!!!bigger dont mean better,and if you put a cam that dont match your combination it will be the biggest ''''dog'''''youve ever driven!!!

i have the right cam and everything..i was jsut curious as to what size cams are best to go with when having a stock car..i have the whole crane cam setup but i was jsut curious cause i really didnt know..lol

What kind of heads do you have? If you have stock heads I wouldn't waste my time changing the cam because it will not benefit you much if any from the E303 that you have now.

My daily driver has 16 cylinders and 4400hp @ 1000 rpm....

I guess i should have gave alot more info my motor is a scat 347 stroker kit forged flat top pistons i have afr 185 heads a edelbrock performer rpm upper and lower intake have decided on the injectors for sure im running the aod with a 2800 stall i had the transmission built to with stand more power just trying to decided on what cam i need i know a e303 would be great but should i go bigger for my setup

That engine needs alot more cam and probably a new converter to match.

yeah +1...with that new motor a ford racing cam would be stupid..get a custom cam for it or go with lunati, comp or crane cam..then like he said match the stall to the engine..
