How do i find out what engine i have?


I am wondering if the 5.0 in my notchback is the stock that came with it or not. How do i find out on the block and/or heads where my engine is from if by any chance its not stock.

ONCE YOU TAKE THE VALVE COVER OFF THERE SHOULD BE STAMPED NUMBER EITHER IN THE HEAD NEAR THE ROCKERS RO STAMPED ON THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK AND HEAD
