I have a black 87 gt and i need to know what color black ford used.

I searched couldnt find anything that called it anything other than black but the paint code I found was 1C

black is not black they used close to 15 diffrent blacks

i dont use crayons...i cant color in the lines with them..i use colored pencils...yay...

on the serious side...jordan..why you need to know this? repainting or patching scratches? cuz i think that ford maybe able to tell you...google. ford paint codes..

Thats what i did looked for the blacks offered in 87 and it came up as the paint code and it was called black

yeah well i worked in a hardware store (ACE) and the matching may work..but the color matching goes by what they have for paint...so it may only match to a certain black that is carried...so may not match the actual color the factory had it painted..cant you check the VIN #, it should have a color code...but that may show exactly what 8t6 came up with..

vin doesn't have color ode there shod be a tag on the door or fire wall
you cant match it like ace can lol
