5.0 HO Oil Type?

What type of oil do you guys recommend and or use in your 5.0 HO Engine & Transmission? I got the 95 GT with the 5.0 HO and was told 10w 30 synthetic blends were recommended. Redline, royal purple, lucas?

royal purple, lucas are both good...synthetic for sure..but you basically stock?..

i got several mods 75mm tb, h pipe, headers, flowmasters, larger exhaust, msd wires, 3.73gears cobra tranny and rear swap. more on my introducion post. what weight do you recommend for the engine and the gear oil?

well thats rlly NBD for mods...you havent rlly touch the motor yet..so something a little better than made for stock would work plenty find..

i say 80w90 gear oil and 10w30 should be fine...synthetic though

and thats way too big of a TB for an basically stock engine...an 65mm maybe as big as i would go with that..even thats a stretch..bigger isnt always better..

its just oil to me...I change my oil every 2500 miles. I dont see the reason for putting expensive shit in my car, when mobile 1 does the job just fine.
