Why is it a bad idea to just put a hose connecting the exhaust pipe and the head pipe. Isnt that whats happening with the smog pump. all im doing it taking out the pump. I'll just get 2 bolts i guess.

No smog and im deleting the a/c. So 79.5 should work. I'll give it a try.

The whistle isnt comming from the a/c. I tried turning on and off the a/c and no justice. But the whistle or whine is deff. comming from the intake. Itself. I dont think a TB or a/c is going to to fix this. I am taking the upper back off to put my stocker valve covers back on and seals. also waterpump and gasket. So who knows... i might find somethign with the intake gasket.

well i dunno what to say about the noise then man, i know i have had a vaccum leak twice and now have the ac thing and the sound the same, but i detected the leaks with the cleaner. and if nothings happening for you with that then im stumped, but good luck with whatever it is.
