menian Look Ma! My First Post! Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1	what is this part called my coolant is coming out of a hole i think on the side of my engine i found a part hangin from a wire its a round metal cap of sum sort with a horse shoe shaped piece thats connected to it, its got 3 plugs on the opposite side for the wire to plug into. etched into the part it reads the following: 600w 120v LR1843 made in canada what the hell is this part called

dave4002000 Newbie Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 17	there's a picture of the part, it's the engine block heater. It replaces one of the freeze plugs in the block.
