EEEC-IV Freaking Out?

Keep in mind:

*This problem did not start until AFTER the Rockers were installed
*Cleaned Idle Air Valve about 15,000 miles ago
*Cleaned MAF about 15,000 miles ago

So I have 1.7 Roller Rockers on my stock 5.0 (Present from bro, why not install them?)

When I start the car up in the mornings (it's like 78 degrees outside) the car idles really low (500rpm) and dies unless I give it gas.

Then once I get to the stop sign 50 yards down the road, the idle surges. It'll go from 600rpm to 1500rpm and back every 2-3 seconds.

THEN, after I get on the highway and have driven for about 5 minutes going like 70mph, I come to my exit and stop at the stoplight. NOW I have a nice smooth idle.

OCCASIONALLY, I'll be driving down a road and come to a stop and my idle will stick at like 2000rpm or even 1600 or somewhere around there.

I probably need to reclean the IAV, but since the problems didn't start until after I installed the rockers, I figured they were the source.

****My question is: Is the computer just freaking out because of the new rockers,or is it another problem? How do I solve the problem?

My setup is:

1989 Ford Mustang LX w/ 5.0HO
U/D Pullies
Longtube Headers
3.73's
Short-throw Shifter
Flex Fan

So Basically Stock

Well im sure you removed the intake to put on rockers. Check for possible vaccum leak, or gasket problems. Also check all connections for the sensors. Could have a air leak too. Never know. good luck
