whats the difference between a 2 main and 4 main

what does this mean and how much better is the 4. where is a good place to find a good used 302...

The difference is in the number of bolts on the main caps there is 2 bolt main and 4 bolt main the 4 bolt is 100000000 times better than a two bolt it will hold more rmps a hold way more HP

Not sure about that but yes I belive the 4.6 32V did have 4 bolt main

The only ones I am sure about the 69 and 70 Boss 302 and 429 blocks were 4 bolt main along with boss 351 block. and the 428 SCJ

428scj and cj were only 2 bolt, the 429cj is a 4 bolt

i dont have any pictures on this computer..he has it at his place..and im at my moms place for the rest of the week..yeah muscle cars are a family thing..when i was about 9 or 10 my parents were driving as there only cars...my mom had an 1970 chevelle ss 454 4spd and my dad his 69 mach 1 428scj..but she's since sold hers...which is now worth near 100k...and dad still has his..but cuz the chevelle was 1/2 his he got half its sales and bought his 92 notch..
