clutch cable.....
well i went to change my clutch cable...simple, easy to do. but not 3 times in 1 day. 1st i changed it out, i went for a drive and was kinda on a busy road, went to push in the clutch and down shift...foot went to the floor with no resistance
 so i got it in gear some how and pulled it off the side, the damn cable blew up right before it mounts to the fender, so i go return it and get another. drive for...not even 5 mins and it does the same thing but this time it blows up down right b4 it enters the clutch fork....by this tyme im tired and want to go home in the 95 degree heat. so i go anr return the POS cable and leave and goto advance, which they had different cables. the cables i got from auto zone were not wraped in metal it was just a cable and the metal strands. I believe the 2nd cable blew cuz it runs right next to the headers, so im just tired of the LT's....so if anybody wants to trade there shorties for some long tubes let me know  and are in my area...FYI dont go to auto zone for much of anything

The Ford cables are the best....go spend the $50 and buy one at a ford dealership. It'll last a long time.

i called ford and they said it was like 160bucks.....but the one i bought from audozone is just like the one i replaced

Buy from Ford because its something you cant risk stretching or breaking going down the road you cant risk it breaking and if you buy Ford you will be safe

i got this one, link, and streching is not the problem...it just gets so hot from the headers.
