Like I said before the UPR one is pretty nice, but I had to beat mine into place with a rubber mallet...I guess it is never coming loose on the up side.

I dont really care if I have to beat it in place as long as it works fine because it grinds into second when driving hard because the clutch is to low. And my roomate is pissing me off say I suck at driving a stcik when its not my fault its the clutch thats to low. He cant even barley drive a stick so I dont know why he's talking shit in the first place I just want to

There is no syncro for reverse thats why it always grinds to fix that all you need to do is with the clutch in put it in 4th and then reverse thats what I have to do in mine it wont grind then

oh i know...i worded it wrong, meant to write synchro's going in 1st and reverse grinds..but when i pull into driveway/ parking spot i have to go from neutral to reverse it grinds...but doesnt grind into firsts if i have clutch to floor and im still rolling a little...

well its time for a new clutch anyways, the king cobra 10.5 clutch i have it in now is like a year old and has been acting funny for a while, so im thinking a spec stage 2 or 3 or and centerforce dual friction...

Yeah, for some reason the outside diameter of the UPR adjuster was just a hair too large for my hole...umm....the hole in the firewall, so it took some persuasion to get it in there.

As for going into reverse, if you don't lift your foot off the clutch when going from any gear to reverse it shouldn't grind, but if you lift your foot off the clutch when it is in neutral or start the car and let it idle in neutral before shifting to reverse it takes upto 10 seconds for the clutch to spin down. If it takes 10 seconds or longer to spin down and still grinds going into reverse you definitely have a clutch disengagement problem.

put it in 5th wait a few seconds, this stops everything in your tranny then go to reverse. all the t5 transmissions end up doing that.every stang with a t5 ive owned has done it.they get real sloppy, especially when you beat the hell out of them.
