1979 capri

ok so i have a 1988 ford f-150 im thinking of tearing out the engine and putting it in this '79 capri does any one have anything as to what would have to be done and can i put the automatic tranny in my car or would i heave to get another?

I dont have your answers really, but i think the oil pan needs a stang pan put on. And I take it your gonna go carbed, so thats about it as far as i can think of, and maybe a set of headers, and motor mounts. Not sure about the trans. But glad to see a Capri around here.
